Walking on thin ice

Wow

This is an amazing song

I’ve always loved Jason Pierce’s ability to start a song in peace and harmony and lift the sonics into chaos and noise. With Yoko’s works and chorus – the results are intense.

“You gave me my life
Like a gush of wind in my hair
Why do we forget what’s been said
And play the game of life with our hearts?
I may cry some day
But the tears will dry whichever way
And when our hearts return to ashes
It’ll be just a story”

This one gives me the chills

I'm a lifelong music lover living in Boston with my husband, son and mother in law. Music has always played a big part in my life and I would like to share some stories and thoughts about songs that I love.

  1. Ice, ice, ice
    Ice, ice, ice
    Ice, ice, ice
    Walking on thin ice
    I’m paying the price
For throwing the dice in the air
Why must we learn it the hard way
And play the game of life with your heart?
    I gave you my knife
    You gave me my life
Like a gush of wind in my hair
Why do we forget what’s been said
And play the game of life with our hearts?
    I may cry some day
But the tears will dry whichever way
And when our hearts return to ashes
    It’ll be just a story
    It’ll be just a story
    Ice, ice, ice
    Ice, ice, ice
    Ice, ice, ice
