This one came on shuffle this morning while I was walking my dogs. My right hip is not cooperating so I had to hobble a little to make the walk.
Lemon Jelly is a British act – they put out several albums of electronic music starting in the late 90s.
This song is really compelling and uplifting. The words are about as simple as it gets.
It’s funny because the title says “Don’t stop me now” but when I listen I never hear the me
“Don’t stop now”
Like a mantra spread out over 7 minutes of chiming quiet moments and rising crescendos.
